My wife Alicia and I will be your hosts and are available to answer questions you have prior to or during your stay at The Latigo, but we will leave you alone to relax once you have checked in and are all settled so you can enjoy your vacation.

Scott was a fantastic host and the house was immaculate. Walkable to everything in Gruene and a super convenient location...and just a staircase down to the river side.
You can tell great detail was put into everything in the house (inside and out) and it was all done with care. The house was spotless and the rooms were perfect to accommodate our group.

We couldn’t have asked for a better stay! This riverfront property is truly a hidden gem in the heart of Gruene. The location is unbeatable—just a short walk to Gruene Hall, shopping, amazing restaurants, yet tucked away enough to feel private and peaceful.
The view of the river is stunning, especially at sunrise and sunset. We spent most of our time relaxing on the back patio, listening to the water and watching the wildlife. The house was spotless, beautifully decorated, and fully stocked with everything we needed—from kitchen essentials to cozy linens. You can tell the owners put a lot of thought into every detail.
Floating the river right from the backyard was such a fun and convenient bonus! Whether you’re looking for a relaxing escape or a weekend full of fun and music, this place has it all. We’re already planning our next trip back—highly recommend!

This place is absolutely incredible! It seems nothing was missed in its design. Everything was so clean and organized too. So many places to eat and drink within walking distance. The back patio was a huge hit! There's lots of room and with the trees you get nice shade but can still get sun too! The kitchen had everything we needed. Bring your favorite wine and spirits as there's a nice wine and separate beer fridge. We had a few questions when we got there and throughout the stay. Scott was on it with quick responses to get us what we needed. We floated the river with Rockn R, which is only .4 miles away in Gruene. If you choose that drop off point, you'll pass the house while floating and can even stop if you want to. As the posting states, the stairs to get down to the river are long. It's easy to navigate though. I would recommend this place for sure if you're looking for the best!
